Our Companion Policy and Companion Rules

You must follow the hospital rules during your stay as a companion.

It is decided by the relevant physician, provided that there is a medical necessity, to accompany the patients.

Receive your companion card from the nurse against your identity card. Keep the companion card given by the institution on your collar.

Children under 12 years of age, those with a known infectious disease or known recent contact with a person with a contagious disease, persons with symptoms that support respiratory tract infection such as coughing, sneezing, sore throat and runny nose, those with any chronic disease, persons prone to infection cannot be accepted as a patient companion.


If there are "Isolation Signs" on the patient's room door or bedside, you should not leave the room and follow the isolation rules. You should not exchange companions or accept visitors.

You should not use tobacco, tobacco products and alcoholic substances within the hospital. You should not speak loudly in patient rooms and corridors, and you should not disturb staff and other patients.

You should not keep your bags, wallets and valuables with you. Our hospital does not accept responsibility if they are lost.

You should wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before and after touching the patient.

You should not make any application to the patient other than the directives of the physician and nurse.

You can ask the floor nurse and staff for help while positioning the bed.

For the safety of our patients, take care to accompany your patient while he/she is standing up and walking around, and if necessary, the healthcare personnel.

In case of an emergency regarding your patient, you should inform the nurse by using the nurse call bell.

In case of an emergency in the toilets, press the red button on the toilet rope call unit or pull the rope.

 You should not take patients out of the hospital or change their beds without the request of the relevant physician or nurse.

You should not bring food and drink to the patient, and you should not give any food or drink to the patient without consulting the doctor or nurse. By showing the accompanying card, you can benefit from our hospital's food services without paying a separate fee.

Food service is done by floor waiters. After the meal, your plates will be collected by the floor waiters.

Accompanying and visitors may have fever, blood pressure measurement, medication request, etc. about themselves. requests are not met in our clinic. In emergencies, you can apply to our Emergency Service and make an appointment with our polyclinics for your other complaints.


Visitor rules may differ according to units. Please abide by the stated visiting rules.

In the sections where Special Patient Groups are located, companion and visitor rules are determined by the relevant section, clinic and defined in the “Special Patient Groups Care Procedure”.

Companions will not be accepted to intensive care units. One person can stay in the intensive care waiting room.

You should not leave your patients in special patient groups (such as disabled, mental disorders, palliative care patients) alone.

When your patient is discharged, you must deliver your 'accompanying card' to the service nurse.

The phone numbers where you can reach us after discharge are recorded in your epicrisis. Accompanying and visitors may have fever, blood pressure measurement, medication request, etc. about themselves. requests are not met in our clinic.

ROOM RULES

You can get the remote control of the television in your room from the floor nurse. When you are discharged, hand over the remote to the floor nurse.

Laundry, bags, bottles, etc. outside the window. Do not put materials. Bread, paper, etc. Do not throw away materials.

We remind you that the door of the refrigerator in the room should not be left open and foodstuffs that may cause odor should not be placed in it.

Use the sockets on the wall of the room and in the bathroom for your personal electrical goods.

Turn off any unnecessary lights in your room. In case of malfunction, please inform the service nurse.

If there is an unnecessary flowing faucet in your room, turn it off. In case of malfunction, please inform the service nurse.

You should not use the empty beds in the services, you should use the companion seats.

Open the companion seats at 22:00 at the earliest and close at 07:00 in the morning at the latest. Be careful not to stay open outside of these hours.

Take care to keep the belongings and materials of the hospital neat and clean.
