In our hospital, 24 hours a day practitioner, emergency medicine specialist, surgical branch doctor, internal medicine doctor, provide services in the emergency department. The patient is first examined in the emergency triage unit, and then, if further examination is required, he or she is directed to the necessary unit. Laboratory, x-ray, tomography and MRI services are provided in our emergency department.
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENTS
TRIAGE
It is the section where all patients who apply to the emergency department are evaluated for urgency, their vital signs are taken, and the patients are directed to the yellow, red and green rooms. Patients admitted to the Emergency Department are guided in accordance with the criteria in triage classification.
GREEN ROOM
It is the room where the vital signs are stable, there are no life-threatening health problems, the examination and treatment of disease groups defined as green by the Ministry of Health and the International triage category.
YELLOW ROOM (EXAMINATION ROOM)
It is the room where the examination and treatment of disease groups defined as yellow in the International triage category and the Ministry of Health, which are coded as yellow by the triage, are not life-threatening but need to be examined.
RED ROOM ( EMERGENCY CPR ROOM )
It is the room where the examination and treatment of disease groups defined as red in the International triage category and the Ministry of Health, whose condition is unstable, life-threatening and whose life will be endangered if not urgently intervened, are performed.
MONITORING ROOM
Patients who are decided to be kept under observation after the physician's evaluation are directed to this room. In the observation room, there is an oxygen and vacuum system at all bed heads.
EMERGENCY LABORATORY
Blood samples taken in the emergency room are tested at the times specified in the Emergency laboratory results Test Working Times Information Leaflet.
EMERGENCY X-RAY
It is the unit where radiological examinations of patients admitted to the Emergency Department are performed.
